Oulton Race Report
September 8th 2007
On Row 3 for heat race with Paul Connell pole. Race start and make up places but miss breaking point and grasstrack in Fosters chicane putting me back to 3rd. Simon Hunt passes in hairpin on lap 2, and Adam Cast is ahead temporarily after contact at Lodge. I finish 4th, Hunt wins.
I'm 22nd on grid for the final, the initial start is red flagged as Robbie Boon rolls and jumps the barriers at Druids. Final restart, running 15th when mechanical gremlins strike on lap 5, I cruise the car for the remaining lap and a half to finish 29th. Matthew Foley wins from Jeff Humphries and Maurice Hayden.
