Oulton Race Report
September 9th 2006
My first opportunity to race on the International circuit, qualified 2:14.97, putting me 8th on the grid for the heat.
Heat start, then on lap 2 red flags are out prompting a restart.
Heat restart, then into the chicane Dan Summers goes off, Damian Cottrell grasstracking. I finish 6th. Matthew Foley, Cottrell, Terry Roughton take the top spots.
I start on row 12 for the final. The race start brings out the red flags again. Derek Rozier is sideways ahead of me, Pete Morgan hit big by following pack.
Final restart, then cars take to the grass at Cascades on lap 2, out of Druids Cottrell is wide, I pass, get a little tap into Fosters, finishing 18th. Christopher Petto wins from Alistair Vannier and Maurice Hayden.
